Die Fotografie ist meine heimliche Geliebte. Leider treffen wir uns viel zu selten.

Photography is my secret lover. Unfortunately, we meet far too rarely.

Ich bin ein Amateurfotograf aus der Schweiz.

Als ich zwölf war, habe ich mir die Rolleiflex meines Vaters ausgeliehen. Ich habe sie ihm nie zurückgegeben. Als ich vierzehn war, habe ich meine Frau in der Dunkelkammer kennengelernt.

Meine Liebe zu ihr und zur Fotografie hat mich seitdem nie wieder verlassen.

Ich wünschte, ich könnte mehr Zeit mit ihnen verbringen. Zum Glück sehe ich meine Frau jeden Tag, während meine Kamera manchmal monatelang nicht zum Einsatz kommt.

I am an amateur photographer based in Switzerland.

When I was twelve, I borrowed my father’s Rolleiflex. I never gave it back to him. When I was fourteen, I met my wife in the darkroom.

My love for her and for photography has never left me since.

I’d wish I could spend more time with them. Luckily I get to see my wife everyday, while my camera sometimes doesn’t see the light of day for months.

  • Workshop with Jane Evelyn Atwood
    2018

    Spring Workshop at Arles – Les Rencontres de la Photographie with Jane Evelyn Atwood, where she conducted the workshop «Explorer sans se perdre».

    Jane Evelyn could be considered as part of the School of Humanist Photography. 

  • Workshop with Frederik Buyckx
    2022

    Frederik Buyckx is a Belgium documentary photographer. He organizes workshops in Albania and Kyrgyzstan.

    It was Frederik who dropped me off in front of Rayim Beks house and picked me up some days later. Frederiks talent is storytelling. He teaches by not teaching. Which is exactly what I was looking for.
